Currencies
Currency is important for Upgrading items.
Gems and Gold can be found as Gifts from the Dog, or by defeating Enemies.
Gems can additionally be earned as rewards from Daily Quests, as rewards from leveling up the Dog, and rarely from DIG.

Gem Drop Rotation
The types of gems that drop in game from Enemies and Dig rotate with each day of the week. Below is the schedule:

ITEM UPGRADES

Items can be upgraded to enhance their Level, and Tier. When an item increases its Level, it will receive a small benefit.
Eventually, an item will reach Max Level, which can be increased by upgrading the item to the next Tier.
The item level is preserved when upgrading Tier, but the Max Level is increased.
The type of Gem required varies depending on the item, but they generally match up with different game commands:
- PRAY : Sapphire
- SMITH: Amethyst
- PET : Topaz
- COP : Ruby
- DIG : Emerald
- KICK: Onyx
- RIOT: Onyx

Please note that the cost to upgrade an Item’s Level is not based on your Item’s Tier, but is based on the Level you are upgrading to.
Below is a chart of the cost to upgrade at each Level. Levels within a Level Range all cost the same amount.

BACKPACK UPGRADES
The Backpack can have its total capacity upgraded earning Prestige. It can acquire up to 5 Backpack Slots.
